Community Guidelines
Last updated: 6 August 2026
MEHMBR connects people with wellness studios. These guidelines keep it useful and safe. They apply to reviews, ratings, photos, profile details and messages — anything you contribute.
1. Reviews
Write from experience. Review classes you actually attended, at studios you actually visited.
Be specific. "The reformer class moved faster than I expected and the instructor adjusted my form twice" helps someone decide. "Bad" does not.
Review the class, not the person. Comment on teaching, facilities, value and atmosphere. Do not comment on an instructor's or another attendee's appearance, body, accent, or personal life.
Don't review your own studio, or ask friends, staff or family to post reviews of it. Don't offer anything in exchange for a review, and don't pressure anyone to remove one.
We do not remove reviews for being negative. Honest criticism is the point.
2. What is not allowed
Do not post content that:
- Is false, misleading or impersonates someone else
- Is defamatory, threatening, harassing or abusive
- Is obscene, sexually explicit, or sexually suggestive about any person
- Attacks anyone on the basis of religion, caste, gender, sexual orientation,
disability, ethnicity or place of origin
- Promotes disordered eating, extreme restriction, purging, or unsafe rapid
weight loss
- Makes medical or therapeutic claims that cannot be substantiated
- Reveals anyone's personal information — phone number, address, workplace,
medical details — without their consent
- Infringes anyone's copyright or trademark
- Advertises unrelated products, services or studios
- Contains malware, or links to harmful sites
- Is illegal under Indian law
3. Behaviour at studios
MEHMBR bookings put you in a physical space with other people.
- Turn up, or cancel in time. Repeatedly booking and not attending takes
places from others and may lead to restrictions on your account
- Follow the studio's rules on arrival time, footwear, equipment and
hygiene
- Respect other attendees. Harassment of any kind — verbal, physical, or
persistent unwanted attention — is grounds for immediate removal from the Platform, and we will cooperate with any police investigation
- Do not photograph or film other attendees without their consent
4. For studios
The same standards apply, plus:
- Do not misrepresent qualifications, certifications or results
- Do not disparage other studios on the Platform
- Do not use consumer contact details for anything except the service they
booked
- Do not pressure a consumer over a review
5. Reporting
Report content or behaviour that breaches these guidelines to
support@mehmbr.com, with enough detail to identify what you mean.
We acknowledge reports within 24 hours and act within 15 days, under the Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021.
Reports of non-consensual intimate imagery are actioned within 24 hours of a valid complaint, as those Rules require.
6. What we do about breaches
Depending on severity we may remove content, warn you, restrict your account, or terminate it. Serious cases — threats, sexual harassment, anything suggesting risk to a person — may be reported to the police.
If we remove your content or restrict your account we will tell you why and you may respond to the Grievance Officer at support@mehmbr.com.
7. We do not pre-screen
MEHMBR does not review content before it is posted. We act on reports. As an intermediary under the Information Technology Act, 2000, we are not liable for content posted by users, but we do act on it once we know.
